Privacy policy
Effective November 7, 2026
RedPrecinct at redprecinct.com, and NC GOTV Research and the NC GOTV dashboard at ncgotv.com (including its research, chat, and www subdomains), are operated by AI4Founders, LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you use the service, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Questions: info@ai4founders.com.
What we collect
Account information. Your email address, first and last name, organization or team name, and a hashed version of your password (we never store the password itself). If you join through a team invite, we record which team you joined.
Voter verification. At signup we ask for your first and last name, street address or ZIP code, and birth year, and compare them with registrations in the North Carolina voter file. We tell you only whether you matched a Republican registration. We store your name, whether the check matched, and, if it matched, the voter record ID it matched; in that case we do not store the address or birth year you typed. If it doesn't match, we store the address or ZIP and birth year you typed, your written explanation, and your attestation that you are a Republican, so we can review the account by hand. Each check is logged with your IP address and email to limit abuse.
Billing. Payments are processed by Stripe. Card numbers go directly to Stripe; we never see or store them. We keep your plan, seat count, subscription status, Stripe customer and invoice references, payment amounts, and a ledger of credit purchases and charges.
Usage records. To bill usage from your credit, we record each AI request's model, token counts, cost, and the amount charged, along with exports you run (type, row count, and charge).
Your content. Questions and messages you send, the AI's replies, research reports, dashboards, saved watches, folders, and share links you create are stored with your account so you can come back to them.
Files you upload. Spreadsheets, PDFs, images, and documents you attach are stored so the AI can read them. Files attached in the dashboard's Charlie chat are deleted after 7 days. Files attached in Research stay with the conversation until you delete it. Downloadable files the AI generates (CSVs, maps, charts) expire after 24 hours, except those embedded in a saved research report, which are kept for 90 days.
Demo and contact requests. If you request a demo or contact sales, we store what you submit (such as name, email, organization, role, and message) along with your IP address and browser user agent.
Logs and security data. Our servers record standard request information such as IP address, the page or API requested, and timestamps. We use it to run and secure the service, debug problems, and enforce rate limits.
Cookies
We use one essential session cookie to keep you signed in. It is marked secure and HTTP-only. The app also uses your browser's session storage to remember which conversation is open. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not run third-party analytics or tracking scripts.
Some pages load content from other services, which receive your IP address when they do: the marketing page embeds a YouTube video (YouTube may set its own cookies when you play it), and maps and charts load open-source libraries from public CDNs (unpkg and jsDelivr) and map tiles from Esri or OpenStreetMap.
Voter data on the platform
The platform displays voter registration and voting history records published by the North Carolina State Board of Elections. These are public records under North Carolina law. Under N.C.G.S. 163-82.10, this information may be used only for purposes related to elections, political activity, voter registration, or law enforcement. Every user agrees to those limits, and may not resell the data or use it for commercial solicitation.
We do not sell personal information, including voter records or account data. We do not add private data about voters beyond what the State Board of Elections publishes, other than map coordinates derived from public addresses using the U.S. Census Bureau's geocoder (and OpenStreetMap's Nominatim as a fallback).
If you are a North Carolina voter and want to know what's in your record, the State Board of Elections is the source: you can look up or update your registration through the State Board or your county board of elections, and changes flow into our copy when we next load their files (usually weekly). You can also email us at info@ai4founders.com with questions about how your record appears here.
AI processing
When you ask a question, your message, the relevant conversation history, any files you attached, and data the AI retrieves from the voter database are sent to an AI provider to generate the answer. We use Anthropic (Claude) for Research and the default chat, and xAI (Grok) when you choose a Grok-powered mode. When the AI searches the web, the search runs through that provider's web search tool.
We use these providers' commercial APIs, and their handling of the data is governed by their API terms and privacy policies. We do not use your content to train AI models.
Who we share data with
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the service, only as needed for that purpose:
- Render — application hosting and our PostgreSQL database.
- Stripe — payments, subscriptions, invoices, and the billing portal.
- Anthropic and xAI — AI processing, as described above.
- SendGrid and Resend — sending email, such as password resets, billing and account notices, saved watch alerts, and demo requests to our sales inbox.
- U.S. Census Bureau geocoder and OpenStreetMap Nominatim — converting addresses to map coordinates when you ask the AI to locate an address or build a route.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights or safety of our users or others, or as part of a merger or sale of the business. Your team's account owner can see the team's billing activity, including which member ran each charge. If you create a share link, anyone you give it to (or anyone with the link, if you choose that option) can view the shared report or dashboard until it expires or you revoke it.
Retention and deletion
We keep account, content, and billing records while your account is open. Uploaded files and generated downloads expire on the schedules above. You can delete research conversations, dashboards, watches, and share links yourself at any time. To close your account or ask us to delete your personal information, email info@ai4founders.com from the address on your account. We will delete or anonymize it, except records we must keep for legal, tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention reasons, such as payment and ledger history. Deleted data may remain in database backups for a limited time before it is overwritten.
You can also ask us for a copy of your personal information or to correct it by emailing info@ai4founders.com.
Security
The service runs over HTTPS. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes. Access to voter and account data is limited by account, and each organization sees only the data its plan covers. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and tell us right away at info@ai4founders.com if you think your account has been compromised.
Children
The service is for adults. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe someone under 18 has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service changes. We will post the new version here with a new effective date, and for material changes we will notify account holders by email or in the app.
